>> the associated press reporting a couple minutes ago that an american gunman in a shooting in israel has been shot dead by authorities in israel. they are saying all this appears to stem from some sort of argument or dispute that this american was having with one of the employees of that hotel. the hotel is the leonardo club hotel on the red sea, a resort city in israel. we can show you a picture of what the area looks like. it's one of the hotels in that area. we are hearing this man is of jewish descent but an american citizen in his 20s. he was in israel on a program that brings american jewish children or an people to israel to live and work there for quite some time. it's reported that after he shot and killed one of the employees at the hotel, he barricaded himself in a hotel kitchen.
